Privacy Policy

Effective March 31, 2026

Aion is operated by Terminal Research LLC. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit our website, create an account, use our SaaS agent hosting and orchestration services, join our waitlist, communicate with us, or otherwise interact with Aion.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect through the Aion website, hosted product environment, APIs, customer communications, marketing interactions, and related services. It does not apply to third-party products or services that are not controlled by Terminal Research LLC, even if they interoperate with Aion.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect information directly from you, automatically from your use of the Services, and from third parties you authorize.

  • Examples of information we may collect include account details such as your name, email address, company name, billing contact information, login credentials, and role within your organization.
  • We may also collect transactional and usage information such as configuration data, deployment metadata, infrastructure events, logs, diagnostics, API usage, device and browser information, IP address, and approximate location derived from network data.
  • If you contact us, join a waitlist, request support, or respond to surveys, we may collect the contents of those communications and any related records.
  • Where customers connect third-party platforms, repositories, models, storage providers, or identity systems, we may receive information necessary to enable those integrations.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to operate, secure, maintain, improve, and provide the Services; to authenticate users; to provision accounts; to process transactions; to communicate with customers; to respond to support requests; to detect abuse or misuse; to comply with law; and to develop new product capabilities.

We may also use information for analytics, troubleshooting, product planning, security monitoring, service communications, marketing permitted by law, and enforcement of our agreements.

4. Customer Content and Agent Data

Customers may submit code, prompts, model inputs, outputs, files, logs, configuration, and other content through Aion. As between Terminal Research LLC and the customer, customer content remains owned by the customer or its licensors. We process customer content on the customer's behalf as needed to provide the Services, maintain security, prevent abuse, support integrations, and comply with law.

Customers are responsible for determining whether they have rights and appropriate notices, consents, or other legal bases to submit personal data or other regulated content to the Services.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies, local storage, analytics tools, and similar technologies to remember preferences, maintain sessions, understand usage, secure the Services, and improve performance. You can control some cookies through browser settings, but disabling certain technologies may affect functionality.

6. How We Share Information

We may share information with service providers and subprocessors that help us operate the Services, such as cloud hosting, analytics, communication, customer support, security, payment processing, and infrastructure vendors.

We may disclose information in connection with legal compliance, lawful requests, investigations, protection of rights and safety, enforcement of our agreements, fraud prevention, or corporate transactions such as a merger, financing, acquisition, or asset sale.

We may also share information with your organization, authorized administrators, and third parties you direct us to integrate with or connect to the Services.

7. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain business records. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information, the sensitivity of the data, contractual commitments, and legal requirements.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, and disclosure. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International Data Transfers

We and our service providers may process information in the United States and other jurisdictions where we or our vendors operate. By using the Services, you understand that information may be transferred to and processed in countries that may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction.

10. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict certain personal information, or to object to certain processing. You may also have the right to appeal certain privacy decisions. We may need to verify your identity and legal authority before acting on a request.

You can opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in those messages. Operational and transactional communications may still be sent when necessary for the Services.

11. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

12. Third-Party Services

The Services may link to or interoperate with third-party services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties, and their practices are governed by their own policies and terms.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice by updating the effective date, posting a notice through the Services, or using other appropriate means. Continued use of the Services after an update becomes effective means the updated Privacy Policy applies.
